Rebecca Harris and Councillors from Castle Point and Essex County Council met at the Victoria House Roundabout in Hadleigh to discuss highways options to solve the issue of vehicles approaching the roundabout too fast and causing significant damage to the road signs and planters which have been installed by local sponsor, Stibbards.

Rebecca Harris commented:

“Pleased to see that the road markings on and around the roundabout have now been redone.  We know there is more work to do, but local Castle Point & Essex County Councillors are working hard to solve the other highways issues.”

Engineers from the County Council are working on a scheme of measures to be introduced to slow the approaching traffic. County Councillor Jill Reeves will keep residents informed on the progress made.
