Yesterday the Government confirmed that fully vaccinated British nationals will be able to visit the United States from November, reuniting families and boosting businesses as we reopen our economy from the pandemic.
Thanks to the incredible success of our vaccine rollout, and the wall of protection it provides, we are able to safely ease travel restrictions.
Through our UK-US working group set up at the G7 in Cornwall, yesterday we reached an agreement that transatlantic flights will resume from November for fully vaccinated passengers, following the move taken by the UK to ease restrictions for visitors from the US earlier this summer.
This will reunite friends and families in both countries who have been apart during the pandemic, while boosting businesses of all sizes who rely on travel and tourism.
