On Saturday 29 January, Rebecca Harris attended Benfleet Rotary Club’s cheque presentation to Benfleet Football Club. Benfleet FC, who play at Woodside Park, were grateful for the Rotary Club’s money. Benfleet FC is an important part of our local community and this money will help them to carry on with their rewarding activities.

Rebecca Harris MP commented: “I was delighted to attend the Benfleet Rotary Club’s cheque presentation to Benfleet Football Club. This money will go a long way in helping Benfleet FC and is once again another example of the amazing support that Benfleet Rotary Club provide to our local community.”

This fantastic act of kindness for Benfleet Football Club is a testament to the great work that Benfleet Rotary Club do to support our local community all year round. Benfleet Rotary Club is part of the world’s largest humanitarian organisation and provides an invaluable service to our local community, supporting many charitable organisations and programmes. For instance, Rotarians take to the streets with Santa every year raising money for good, local causes and have also volunteered hundreds of hours of service helping to support the vaccination roll-out at our local centres on Canvey and Benfleet.
