Local MPs Rt Hon Mark Francois and Rebecca Harris joined the Mayor of Castle Point and other local councillors for a tour of the newly opened Connect Renewables showroom and training centre on Stadium Way at the Rayleigh Weir.
The new facility has already upskilled numerous professional tradespeople in green skills qualifications and the installation, design and maintenance of modern Daikin Heat Pumps. The training facility offers two-day courses in state-of-the-art classrooms with the latest equipment and tools.
Castle Point MP Rebecca Harris said: "It was very impressive. This is exactly the kind of business we want to see locally, helping equip local tradespeople with the skills they need for the growing renewable and energy-saving markets."
Rayleigh and Wickford MP Rt Hon Mark Francois commented:
"I was delighted to visit this impressive local business, which is providing engineers with vital new skills for the next generation of renewables and green technology. I wish the team at Connect Renewables every success.”
