Yesterday I had the pleasure of opening the new Lady McAdden Breast Cancer shop on Furtherwick Road in Canvey town centre with the Mayors of Castle Point and Canvey.

Lady McAdden is a local charity that has helped hundreds of women detect breast cancer early over the past 40 years by providing one to one advice and support and raising general awareness about what to look for when checking breasts for lumps and abnormalities.

I am a big supporter of theirs and would encourage everyone to pop in, have a browse and support this fantastic cause next time they are in Canvey.

Lady McAdden also collect old bras that are no longer needed and recycle them to raise funds. You can find their Pink Bra Bins at Canvey and Hadleigh Morrisons.
