Recently, Rebecca Harris MP visited the Royal National Institute for the Blind, the RNIB, to spend a short while experiencing day to day life as a person without sight and do some basic kitchen tasks.
Rebecca commented:
"It was very challenging and it felt awful to be be deprived of the sight I rely on every minute of every day.
The RNIB do fantastic work supporting blind and partially sighted people to find support in the community and help guide them through available medical and other care."
If you have sight loss or an eye condition and would like information, advice and support, please contact the RNIB on their Helpline 0303 123 9999 or email [email protected].
