We are urging people to stay safe during Storm Eunice this week, it is predicted to be one of the worst storms in decades, with very strong winds and high waves that could bring flooding, risk lives and disrupt travel. The whole of Essex is covered by a red weather warning from 10am to 3pm today. A red warning indicates a significant danger to life, as extremely strong winds have the potential for damage to structures and flying debris. Winds in excess of 80mph are anticipated. The advice is very simple – please stay at home.
