Rebecca Harris MP celebrated Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s record-breaking 70 years of service over the Platinum Jubilee weekend.
Locally, Rebecca enjoyed strawberries and cream in the sun at The Hub at Hadleigh County Park to watch the Trooping the Colour. There were fairground games for the kids and a performance by the Music Man Southend Mencap Choir. The event was a great success!
Rebecca was also honoured to attend the historic National Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral.
Rebecca commented:
“I was pleased to celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee over the past few days, a fitting tribute to the longest-reigning monarch in our history. For 70 years, Her Majesty The Queen has been devoted to serving the UK and the Commonwealth with the utmost dignity – a true role model.
“Thank you, Ma'am.”
