Rebecca Harris MP joined the staff, job seekers, and local businesses who attended the Interview Day at Canvey Job Centre on Friday.

It was a great chance for local job seekers to get in front of employers to hone their interview skills and for local employers to find new local staff. 

The Conservative Government are taking the long-term decisions to introduce the next generation of welfare reforms, creating a fairer system and helping more people to start, stay and succeed in the workplace, giving them the security of a stable income and growing the economy. Rebecca Harris MP has welcomed the Conservative Government’s new Back to Work Plan, helping people across Castle Point to stay healthy, get off benefits, and look for and stay in work.

Rebecca commented: "It was a fantastic event, and I understand there were a good number of job seekers who are going on to the next stages of recruitment. I know the employers themselves really value these events and the chance to get in front of potential new staff."
